ESPN's Jemele Hill stands tall against a wave of criticism from the White House after the host and sports journalist called President Donald Trump a white supremacist.

On Sept. 11, Hill tweeted out several statements criticizing Trump and his administration for cuddling white supremacists in wake of his response to the violent unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia where the Unite the Right rally took place last month.

She was reprimanded the following day by ESPN and was met with vitriol from Trump supporters and even the White House attacking Trump.

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called Hill's tweets a "fireable offense" in a Wednesday press conference.

In the clip, she states, “I think that is one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make.” Sanders goes on to say, “It is certainly something that I think would be a fireable offense by ESPN.”

Jemele Hill was the first to take to Twitter to readdress the situation, handling it quite professionally.

She also shed light on all the people that came to check on her. First, it was the National Association of Black Journalists who also issued a statement in support of Hill.

Celebrities, athletes, activists and many other public figures stated that they were by Hill's side throughout the madness.

I mean this particular situation and many others like it under Trump administration could easily be fixed with this one solution.

We'll be following this story closely as it continues to unfold.
