Chance the Rapper proposed to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two-year-old daughter on the nation's birthday.

A shirtless Chance,  born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him in front of family and friends during a Fourth of July cookout.

“Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?” he asked in the video as he presented her the ring.

As Corley said yes, their daughter, Kensli, entered the frame and got a lift from her dad. The two have been together since 2013 according to Music News. In that time, they had their daughter in 2015, and Chance's career as an independent artist skyrocketed. It wasn't always smooth sailing as the two resolved some child support issues in 2017, People reports.

The "Acid Rap" artist confirmed what we already knew on Twitter. His future wife did indeed say yes.

Among those who witnessed the momentous occasion was Chance's younger brother and rapper in his own right, Taylor Bennett. He posted a tribute to his now-engaged brother on Instagram.

Here's wishing the happy couple a long and fruitful marriage!
