A Chicago teen ordered an Uber Pool on Thursday morning, and now she's hesitant to utilize rideshare services ever again.

According to ABC News 7, the car picking up 18-year-old Jasmin Wimbley arrived with two passengers in the back seat. She sat in the front seat, and the driver continued the route.

After dropping off the first rider, Wimbley's stop was next. The driver bypassed her destination and instead dropped off the final passenger. During her journey, the driver turned off the ride.

"According to Uber, I'm not in your car anymore," she told the suspect.

Wimbley tried to leave with the final passenger, but the driver locked her inside his vehicle.

"My door was locked, so I couldn't get out of the car, so I looked over at him or whatever, and he was already staring at me," Wimbley told ABC News 7.

Wimbley manually unlocked her door before the driver could leave with her in tow. She managed to escape to a nearby bus stop but not before the suspect grabbed the teen's jacket.

"As I'm getting out the car, he, like, grabs my jacket part. But I yanked away real quick, so it slipped out his hand," Wimbley said.

Wimbley reported the incident to Uber, who confirmed it has closed the driver's account as the company works with investigators on this incident, Patch writes.

Following this interaction, Jasmin's mother, Theresa Peoples, said she will never allow her children to rideshare again.

"You're thinking that they're safe because they're in a car," Peoples said to ABC News 7. "My kids will never be in another Uber. Never."

This is not the first time this year an Uber driver has been accused of kidnapping. In September, a Florida woman leaped out of the window of a moving car to escape a driver who'd tried abducting her.
