We’ve been anticipating a new Donald Glover/Childish Gambino album for a good minute now, and the fervor has reached a fever pitch over the past few weeks due to the critical and commercial success of Atlanta.
Now, we may have a date for when the new Gambino album will drop – December 2.
A Reddit user uploaded an image at a local FYE store, which pictured a blackboard with future release dates. It included an album from the actor and rapper, set to be released on December 2, called Awaken, My Love!
The person who uploaded the picture said that they asked the cashier about it and they responded, “It’s a new album coming I guess. That’s all we have written down.” Additionally, Amazon Canada has Awaken, My Love, on their site with the release date, as does AllMusic.
Glover’s camp has yet to respond to any media outlets as to confirm or comment on the alleged release.
