While the dynamic duo Chloe x Halle have devoted recent time and energy to their solo career endeavors, the Atlanta-bred, R&B singing sisters are still definitely a unit.

Older sister Chlöe started the second leg of her In Pieces Tour in support of her debut solo album on Aug. 20, her first as a headlining solo artist.

Earlier this month, Halle released her first solo single, “Angel,” and played Ariel in the new live-action rendition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Regardless of all the great things they’ve been up to individually, the ball is rolling toward their next joint venture.

During an interview with PopSugar, Chlöe spoke about their next collaborative effort:

“I am so excited for top of next year when we start honing in again on our third album. I know we’re really excited. It’s going to be so special. We’ve both lived a lot and we’ve grown a lot. And then we’ll be able to put our minds together again for an even more special project. I think that, in this time, sis and I have grown great individual fan bases and it’ll even help when it comes back to our duo project for people to really pay attention and have more eyes and ears on it than Ungodly Hour.”

Their 2020 second album, Ungodly Hour, earned Chloe x Halle three Grammy nominations: best progressive R&B album, best R&B song for their massive hit “Do It” and best traditional R&B performance for “Wonder What She Thinks of Me.”

Based on the positive reception of their last project and the time apart on their solo efforts, it’ll be exciting to see and hear what they come up with on their next record.
