Chrissy Teigen recently revealed that she’s in a better place emotionally after having lost her baby earlier this year due to pregnancy complications. However, she shared that she’ll never be able to be pregnant again.

On Wednesday, the 35-year-old wrote an update to her fans on Instagram, detailing parts of her emotional journey since she and husband John Legend lost the child they began calling Jack in September. In the message, the model and entrepreneur also shared a photo of her “bump” and acknowledged that it has been “frustrating” to deal with her physical appearance.

“This is me and my body, just yesterday,” she wrote. “Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why i still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating.”

The mom of two, four-year-old daughter Luna and two-year-old son Miles, later expressed that she has found joy by watching her family grow and become closer.

“But I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways. I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again. But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day,” she wrote.

A slew of good wishes came pouring in from fans of Teigen when she took to Instagram on Sept. 30 to inform them that doctors couldn’t save her son, as Blavity previously reported. She was hospitalized two days before her miscarriage due to excessive bleeding and needed blood transfusions.

On a Halloween date night, she posted a photo of a tattoo of her late son’s name on her wrist.

In November, Teigen started posting to social media more frequently and told fans that she was working on her mental health.

"I’m not tweeting much because I’m honestly in a bit of a grief depression hole but do not worry as I have so much help around me to get better and I’ll be fixed soon," she tweeted.

Recently, Teigen revealed she was finally able to withstand taking a shower.

"I just had my first shower in like two months. I’ve been taking baths because I couldn’t stand to be in the shower. I couldn’t, like, physically stand in the shower,” she said in an Instagram story, according to ET.

With Teigen experiencing a great deal of stress, Legend has stayed steadfast in supporting his wife and dedicated his song "Never Break" to her at the Billboard Music Awards this year.

“I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the most challenging moments. What an awesome gift it is to be able to bring life into the world,” he said. “We’ve experienced the miracle, the power and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility.”

Teigen said she is extremely appreciative of the groundswell of love from fans for her family.

"For weeks, our floors have been covered in flowers of kindness," she wrote on Medium in October. "Notes have flooded in and have each been read with our own teary eyes. Social media messages from strangers have consumed my days, most starting with, 'you probably won’t read this, but…' I can assure you, I did."
