Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, claims to have not spoken to his daughter in ten weeks.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Mr. Markle lamented about the distance between himself and his daughter. He claimed Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana “would have loathed the way I’ve been treated.”
Mr. Markle claims to have attempted to reach his daughter by her old phone numbers with no luck.
"Those numbers were disconnected, they no longer work. I have no way of contacting my daughter," he noted. "It's her birthday on August 4 and I want to send her a card. But if I send a birthday card to Kensington Palace, or wherever she's living now, it'll just be one among thousands. She'll probably never see it."
Mr. Markle also touched on his daughter's new status as Duchess of Sussex and how that particular status will make it much more difficult for mail to get to her.
"I thought about sending it by Priority Mail Express, but the Palace would probably just soak it in water for three days to make sure it doesn't explode," he added.
Other than the obviously high security, the 74-year-old blamed his now infamously staged paparazzi pics where he was "caught" receiving a tux fitting for the royal wedding in May, but it was later found out the Duchess' father was simply in a party supplies store. He was set to walk her down the aisle, but canceled due to his poor health.
We can imagine Meghan is stressed about this, but there's one particular person who is superbly fed up with his saltiness: Chrissy Teigen. If anything, Teigen is known for speaking her mind.
“This guy…this guy sucks,” Teigen tweeted on Saturday, along with screenshots from the article.
“What’s wrong with him? Let your daughter be happy, please,” she continued. “This is embarrassing.”

Oop, Ms. Teigen is tired of your antics, Mr. Markle.
Besides, actress Priyanka Chopra, one of Meghan's friends who attended the wedding, believes she's doing just fine. More than fine, in fact.
“She’s doing amazing,” the actress told PEOPLE. “It’s so nice to see.”
