Ciara released her new album CiCi on Friday, and social media users have criticized her music and wardrobe style.

The 37-year-old shared a clip Sunday of her and her dancers doing the sturdy dance to her song “BRB” on X, formerly known as Twitter, Atlanta Black Star reported.

“BRB BRB BRB… 💧😎💃🏽” she wrote.

Shortly after, one user shared the video and said she wasn’t fond of the song.

“She making Tik Tok music atp,” Kenia Cole wrote.

The “Get Up” artist responded to the online critic with a classy clapback.

“And.. ..you’re watching…:) taking time to comment. Gotta love it 😂🥰 #CiCi EP” she wrote.

Fans praised CiCi for checking the X user, saying she’s a dancer who makes music for people to dance to.

“Like Tik Tok existed during the 1,2 step era y’all would ate it up she been making dance music and made it very clear … LIKE STOP !” one user said.

“They been watching for 19+ years with forever to go! Let them continue Queen 😂😂💯” another user wrote.

“I love when Clapback CiCi comes out to play! #CiCi” a third user shared, along with a heart emoji.

In a subsequent post, Ciara had a few choice words for Cole after learning she’s a women’s basketball assistant coach at William & Mary University in Williamsburg, Virginia.

“Not the assistant coach of a women’s basketball team taking time to hate.. that makes no sense 🤦🏽‍♀️” Ciara wrote.

According to the team’s website, Cole has entered her third season as an assistant coach for the women’s Tribe basketball team. She joined the program before the 2021-2022 season.

Cole shared a follow-up post after users called her out on the social platform for being a woman mentoring other young women in sports.

“I think I hit a nerve guys 😂” she wrote.

As Blavity reported, Ciara announced  earlier in August that she is expecting her fourth child with her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.
