Ciara released the music video for her new single “Forever,” featuring fellow Atlanta native Lil Baby.

The tune is reminiscent of Ciara’s early hits with her soft voice bringing in a fire rap verse.

The visuals feature retired Cincinnati Bengal star A.J. Green and his wife, Miranda Brooke, as the couple prepares to head down the aisle to their forever.

The video opens up with an aerial shot of Manhattan’s Central Park with the 37-year-old singer’s voice coming in saying, “Girl, I know we always talked about these days. What you have is forever.”

The next shot shows the star standing on a stoop, wearing shorts and showcasing her famous legs. She begins belting out lyrics dismissing popularized “hook-up” culture.

“Everyone’s hatin’, goin’ half on baby/And they think I’m crazy ’cause one night only can’t be enough/ Some say I’m hatin’ because I been sayin’/Love is amazin’, I know I’m not the only one.”

Lil Baby joins in after the bridge offering the male perspective on finding the one.

“Head first, I done dived in/ You the one, but really you a ten/ I know my mind like, ‘Here she go again.'”

The next scene cuts to the wedding guests enjoying an obligatory Soul Train line. Ciara even recruits Brooke to participate in one of her signature dance breaks.

“Forever” is the second single from the singer’s newly released EP, CiCi. Ciara, Jaydot and Precision Production are credited as the track’s producers.

The single celebrating Black love features a sample of Troop’s 1989 hit “All I Do Is Think of You.” Ciara recently told Star 94.5 this new project is all part of her “‘Ci Ci’ R&B era.”

“I wanted this collection of songs to make you feel like you’re at an old school house party vibing to R&B,” she said.

After dropping its first single, “How We Roll,” featuring Chris Brown, the soon-to-be mother of four faced backlash over collaborating with the singer, but the song reached No. 9 on Billboard’s R&B charts.
