Aubrey English, a 6-year-old cancer survivor, received a pleasant surprise on Good Morning America, People reports.
The morning show teamed up with pop star Ciara to present English with a trip to Disney World and a personalized message from Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
English was 2 years old when she was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer typically found in children, according to SurvivorNet.
In 2018, English was recorded by her mother dancing to Ciara’s “Level Up” while in her hospital room and became a touching viral sensation. Now at the age of 6, English has been in remission for three years.
Ciara gushed at the toddler’s strength, calling her a “superhero.”
"Oh my goodness. I'm in tears right now. … And I'm so impressed by your strength and how you never gave up in your battle against cancer,” she said.
“You inspire me and so many people and so many others," she continued. "You are a real 'Level Up' princess so keep leveling up and inspiring so many, Aubrey. I'm so proud of you and rooting for you always."
When asked by anchor Robin Roberts how she felt these days since being free of cancer, English simply said "good."
English’s mother, who works as a pediatric nurse, detailed the hardships of parenting under such circumstances.
"I'm able to help others in ways that I didn't even imagine," she said. “It is not something you want to go through. But, I know that it's a reason for going through it. I truly believe that."
The family showed even more excitement after learning they would all be able to share in English’s trip to the Magic Kingdom.
