Ciara is dropping new music, and the cover art for her newest single features a bodysuit by Cierra Boyd, a Los Angeles designer and the mastermind behind high-fashion streetwear brand Friskmegood.

Ciara wore a red, white and black Boyd creation made with Jordan 4s while gracing the cover of her newest single. And Boyd couldn’t be happier about it.

“I just wanna cry, I cannot believe my bodysuit suit is the cover of Jump. Thank you again @ciara, 10 year old me is screaming you have no idea !!!” she wrote.

Ciara talked about Boyd’s design on TikTok, commending the designer’s innovative work.

“The girl who made it — her name is Cierra — and she is just brilliant,” she said. “I couldn’t believe when I saw this in person. This is insane.”

After graduating from Ohio University, studying retail merchandising and fashion product development, Boyd told Elite Daily that she was feeling uninspired. She then stumbled into the sustainable fashion world, using “stuff in my attic” and “stuff around the house” to build her creations.

“I had family members and neighbors on our street donating fabrics. … It wasn’t until recently that I decided to no longer buy commercial or brand new fabrics anymore and only use 100% recycled materials,” she told Elite Daily in 2021. “Eventually, I was able to afford those fancy fabrics, but I realized that the response from my audience was different every time I posted something that wasn’t upcycled. When I do post upcycled stuff, people resonate with it more. I think about what got me here and what got me started in my actual roots to my clothing line. And luckily, in 2020, I was able to get back to that.”

Ciara isn’t the first celebrity to wear Boyd’s designs. Back in December, Frisk Me Good collaborated with Cardi B on a green and white Balenciaga sneaker corset and custom bra.

Founded in 2017, Frisk Me Good creates custom designs from up-cycled and deconstructed materials, most notably old leather sneakers. The brand has been featured in Nylon, Elite Daily, Vogue Mexico and other publications.
