Riding on a wave of stardom and virality, multiplatinum recording artist Coi Leray is set to release the follow-up to her 2022 debut album, Trendsetter. The successful artist has made a name for herself with tracks like double-platinum hit “No More Parties” and gold-certified “Big Purr (Prrrd)” [feat. Pooh Shiesty].

Since emerging on the music scene, Leray has continued the impressive momentum from her first debut with singles like “Fly Sh*t” and “Players” — the sizzling success of which earned the artist her first Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 appearance in her highest charting single to date. “Players” also received star-studded remixes with the likes of DJ Smallz, David Guetta, DJ Saigee and Busta Rhymes.

COI, as the upcoming sophomore album is aptly called, is slated to drop on June 23, featuring a roster of star collaborations such as David Guetta, Saucy Santana, Giggs, Lola Brooke and Skillibeng.

According to her news release, COI will include 15 tracks that touch upon diverse rap, rock, pop, reggae and dance music genres. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old musician unveiled the album’s official cover art, which features her posing in a skimpy, aqua-colored ensemble.

“From my versatility to my sex appeal to my masculine energy… This album is gonna show you that if I’m not the best, then I’m one of the best of generation,” the singer penned on Twitter. “Thank you to everyone who has supported me and watched me grow on my journey.”

A little over a year removed from the release of her first project, the second, self-titled LP will include her more recent singles, “Bops” and “My Body.”

The New Jersey-bred artist has seen significant success this year, from chart-topping music releases like Nicki Minaj-assisted track “Blick Blick” to notable festival performances such as Rolling Loud California, Austin City Limits and Governor’s Ball.

She also became the voice of the WNBA’s “More Than Game” campaign ahead of their 2023 season. The coy vocalist has performed on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and ABCs Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“I’m gonna determine my greatness, my destiny and my future,” she told Billboard earlier this year.

Having quickly become a force to be reckoned with, the announcement of her forthcoming record generated buzz. The powerhouse performer celebrated by sharing tweets from excited fans.

“One thing [about] @coi_leray that she’s gon SERVE the visuals,” one tweet read, referring to the 2000s-inspired album art.

“I can already tell this gone be fire,” another fan tweeted.

Following the announcement, Leray went on to preview several records from this upcoming album on Twitter and Instagram

“First leak off the project,” she tweeted, teasing a song titled “Get Loud” from the upcoming album.

Leray also teased “Make My Day,” which samples the 1989 classic hit “Pump the Jam” by Technotronic.

“One of my favorite songs off my project…” she wrote on Instagram.
