During an Instagram live chat with her latest collaborator, Nicki Minaj, Coi Leray shared intimate details about her time with a woman and why it isn’t for her.

Minaj directly asked the 22-year-old rapper if she was a lesbian. However, Leray would share that during a sexual encounter with a woman and made it clear that she is just not into women.

“No, no, no. I like d*ck,” the “Blick Blick” rapper said. “I ate p*ssy before, though. It just wasn’t for me. After I was in it, that’s when I realized. I was like, ‘Listen, this is not for me. This is not my type of thing.'”

Leray then explained to Minaj that the touch of a man that she likes and doesn’t feel like a woman could provide her with that.

“You know what it is, Nicki? I like a man’s touch,” Leray said. “Like—I like aggression. A girl can’t really give me that aggression, you know what I’m saying?”

As a response, Nicki pointed out that some girls can be aggressive, mentioning the openly gay rapper Young M.A. Although Coi thinks Young M.A. is “cute,” she doesn’t view her in a sexual sense and considers her a “homie.”

During the conversation this past Friday, the two talked about their experiences with hate in the industry, with Nicki encouraging newer female artists to “stop talking about hate.”

Minaj responded to Leray’s comments about receiving and overcoming hate in the industry, stating that no one has ever faced the level of hatred.

“Can you girls stop talking about hate? Y’all have never experienced hate the way I have experienced [it],” Minaj said. “Y’all have just experienced some of the growing pains of artistry and of social media. […] Trust me, ya ain’t experienced it yet. A lot of y’all have gotten, not coddled, people have been nice. People have been gentle with y’all.”

Eventually, Leray explained that her fans were getting “overly emotional” over Minaj’s remarks on Twitter.

“Y’all too emotional .. Nicki been through a lot !!! she still standing strong, still dropping hits,” Leray said. “She basically told me don’t let y’all wack ass comments and negative energy stop me now because MORE MONEY AND SUCCESS More problems so THUG THAT SHIT OUT.”

The musician mentioned that she didn’t find Minaj’s comments offensive and that one should always listen to someone who has more experience.
