In spite of his problematic past and untimely death last year, XXXTentacion’s fans proved they are still 10 toes down after dragging a comedian on social media for making a disrespectful joke about the slain rapper.

During her Comedy Central stand-up special, comedian Dina Hashem made a joke about XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Onfroy, who was shot and killed in Florida last year.

“Is anyone still mourning XXXTentacion? He’s a rapper, who was murdered, he’s dead now. He was shot, he was on his way to buy a car with $50,000 in cash and somebody shot him and took the money,” she said. “Which is very tragic, but I also think it would be a very good Venmo commercial. That’s the first thing I thought when I heard that. Like, 'I don’t have Venmo, I should get Venmo.'”

After the clip, which has since been deleted from Comedy Central Stand-Up’s Twitter page, was shared by fellow rapper and friend Ski Mask The Slump God, a swarm of XXXTentacion’s fans responded.

According to Complex, the comedian was flooded with so much social media criticism that she changed her profile to private, but not before issuing this statement on her Instagram page.

Nevertheless, fans still weren’t here for Hashem’s backpedaling and have continued to post intimidating comments, including several clown emojis, under her posts. The controversial clip has since been edited out of Hashem’s special.
