The Cosby Show star Geoffrey Owens is proud of his son Jordyn, who acts opposite Neil Patrick Harris, Tisha Campbell, Marcia Gay Harden and more in Netflix’s new series Uncoupled.
Closer Weekly reports that Jordyn, his only child with his wife Josette, is now working on his own acting career, including his new Netflix show, Uncoupled.
Harris stars Michael, a 40-something gay man in the city who suddenly finds himself single after his partner of 17 years leaves him.

Jordyn plays Trey in the series. Owens said to Page Six that he's proud beyond words at his son's success.
Jordyn also talked about his success on Instagram, writing, “Beyond blessed (cliché I know) to have made my appearance with some of the best in the business, great experience, always thankful.”

Jordyn is also an artist and model, telling Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager and Wayne Brady on a March 2021 episode of 'Today' that he loves painting and has created a separate Instagram page for his artwork.

He was also a positive source of emotional support for his father when a picture of Owens working in a Trader Joe's went viral in 2018.
Owens revealed that the scandal surrounding Bill Cosby, who served time for sexual assault, led to him having to take a job at the grocery store.
“Yes, it impacted me financially,” he said to People. “At the time that the show was pulled, that did make a difference in our income. That was one of the elements that led to my getting to a place where I said to myself, ‘I have to do something,’ and I was thinking, ‘What can I do? and the answer ended up being Trader Joe’s which is actually a wonderful situation for me in many ways.”
He told People at the time that he texted Jordyn to apologize "for embarrassing him" because "I knew his classmates would see it and he'd be humiliated and embarrassed. I apologized to him."
But, he said, Jordyn told him how he was proud of him.
“I cried; I just broke down,” he said. “He felt the opposite of embarrassment. He was so proud that I had taken the job. It was beautiful.”
Owens would quickly receive tons of support from fellow actors and created more working opportunities for the fan-favorite actor.
