Plus-sized South African model, Lesego "Lee" Legobane isn't having it with bodyshamers.

A Twitter user by the name of Leyton Mokgerepi created a meme featuring a photo of Legobane next to a picture of another, slimmer model, captioning it "Girls that I like vs. Girls that like me."

Legobane's response has made headlines, and immediately went viral on social media.

Her post has reached over 730,000 likes and counting, and has even won the approval of Ava Duvernay, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

And it wasn't just some of the more famous members of Black Twitter who were there for the model:

“I’m overwhelmed by the love from people from all over the world, it’s [so] sweet!” Legobane wrote to HuffPost. “I’ve been getting DMs from women thanking me for embracing my body and loving myself. This is why body positivity on a public platform is so important, because others [are] able to draw inspiration from me and I appreciate that. [It] means a lot to me that I can change someone’s perception about their physical appearance by loving my own."

And it's not just women who are reaching out to Legobane.

“I hate it when men think that fat girls are desperate and that we like every other guy [because] ‘we don’t have options,’” Legobane said. “It’s utter nonsense. I can be fat and still be out of your league.”
