Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills player who collapsed during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, is breathing without a tube for the first time since the terrifying incident. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport provided an encouraging update to fans on Friday:

“This is amazing: For the first time, Bills S Damar Hamlin is addressing the team via Facetime,” Rapoport tweeted. “The breathing tube is out, and he’s spent the morning speaking to various teammates on Facetime. Now, he’s delivering a message to the entire group, I’m told.”
