A new year calls for a new boo! Lori Harvey and Damson Idris appeared to officially announce their new relationship on Instagram. 

Fans speculated about the couple for months, even though they stuck to their story of being just friends. The rumor mill began to whisper in December when the paparazzi spotted them attending Zack Bia’s birthday party together.

Friday morning, the Snowfall star appeared to confirm the rumors of their coupledom after posting several photos on his Instagram Story. 

The first picture captured the two in a sweet embrace, with Idris kissing Harvey on the cheek. He captioned the photo wishing his new love a happy 26th birthday. “Happy birthday Nunu.” The 31-year-old added a heart emoji as a cute touch.

The second photo shows Harvey holding stacks of prop money while on the set of Idris’ show.

Unlike his counterpart, Idris’ love life hasn’t been front-page news. According to Black America Web, he has had several short-term associations with model Christina Santini and Saweetie. However, he quickly shut that rumor down, stating he and the rapper were “just friends.”

Harvey has had several high-profile relationships, including Trey Songz, Justin Combs and a six-month stint with Future.

Her latest relationship was with Creed star Michael B. Jordan. She and the 35-year-old star dated for a year before they split early last summer.

Harvey has not shared any images of Idris on her social media yet, so there may still be hope for fans who are heartbroken over the news that their celeb baes are now taken.
