Not much needs to said here, really. It's a Steven Spielberg historical epic drama (this time centered on Abraham Lincoln), Daniel Day Lewis stars as the title character, and he's joined by Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, and several other revered acting talents like David Oyelowo and Gloria Reuben.

Something tells me Lewis has the Best Actor Oscar locked up already, even though the film won't be out until November 9thLiam Neeson had long been rumored to star in the film – he certainly has the height advantage over Lewis (6' 4" for Neeson, the same height as Lincoln, compared to 6' 1" for Lewis), but I'm sure Lewis will do just fine.

The film focuses specifically on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office, with the nation divided by war and change on the horizon, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery.

Given the subject matter, expect to see lots of black faces on screen in peripheral roles.
