Daphne Joy Responds To 50 Cent's Online Attacks: 'I'm So Tired Of Defending My Character'

Daphne Joy just wants to be "happy and left alone."

Instagram model Daphne Joy is defending herself against her ex-boyfriend and son’s father Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson after he recently commented on her romantic life.

Joy and Jackson dated over a decade ago, for two years, and they share a son together. The two have been coparenting without any real public hiccups until Monday, following Joy’s recent weekend getaway.

Over the weekend, the 35-year-old model shared a couple videos and pictures on her Instagram story of her enjoying a trip to the iHeart Radio Music Festival.

According to The U.S. Sun, news outlets speculated that Joy was accompanied by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after comparing similar Instagram stories shared between her and the music mogul.

50 Cent is known for trolling on social media, and it seems like he wasn’t too happy to see his ex-girl enjoying herself with Combs.

In response, the 47-year-old rapper took to Instagram to post a picture of him and Joy’s 10-year-old son with a caption that came off a bit disrespectful.

“Oh shit, that’s your mommy over there with Puffy. LOL. Remember what I told you the other day, these b!tche’s be crazy. SMH,” the “In Da Club” rapper wrote in the post’s caption.

Joy, who is usually quiet on social media, wasn’t going to let her ex-boyfriend off easy. She defended her fun weekend with an Instagram post of her own.

The model expressed how she’s tired of the narrative attached to her name when she decides to share a bit of her happiness, which is all she wants.

Joy also mentioned how she’s “healed privately,” “matured” and has been “closer to God” than ever before. She added that she’s “really appreciating this life” and just wants to be “happy and left alone.”

Joy isn’t the only woman who has clapped back at 50 Cent for his rude comments recently.

As Blavity previously reported, Lil’ Kim put the rapper in his place after he attempted to reignite her feud with Nicki Minaj.
