Filmmaker Darryl Roberts' new documentary America The Beautiful 2: The Thin Commandments, the sequel to his earlier successful 2008 doc in which he took on the plastic surgery and cosmetic industry, is opening in more cities across the country after its sold out runs in N.Y, L.A., New Canaan CT, Dallas and other cities.

The new film, which goes after the dieting industry and its negative effects on the public and especially on women, opened in Philadelphia this past Weds at the Landmark Ritz East Theater, and yesterday in the Washington D.C. area at the Bethesda Row Cinemas in Bethesda Maryland.

Other openings coming soon are in Atlanta at the LeFont Theater on Tuesday Nov. 15, Denver on Thursday Nov. 17 at the Denver Film Center – Colfax, San Francisco on Tuesday Nov. 22 at the Embarcadero Cinema Center and in Darryl's hometown of Chicago on Friday Dec. 2 at the Music Box Theater.
