DDG is making waves with a new freestyle that also features Baby Rich and 2Rare. The new freestyle, from Red Bull Spiral, is part of Red Bull 1520 — their YouTube channel dedicated to hip-hop programming.

This year’s cypher showcased the next generation of rappers from three different cities. Fans will be elated to see labelmates DDG and Baby Rich reconnect following their 2022 hit, “Know How I Get.”

DDG, whose real name is Darryle Dwayne Granberry Jr, is most known for his song, “Moonwalking in Calabasas.” He started as a YouTuber and later expanded his online empire to $8 million. Additionally, the 26-year-old made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and is currently dating Halle Bailey

According to Rolling Out, Baby Rich signed to DDG’s Zooted record label in 2021. As part of the new wave of artists coming from Birmingham, he is joined by the likes of Flo Milli. In 2023, he was a part of XXL’s Freshman Class. DDG also credits him for creating the southern dance called the “dab.” A debate about the origin of the dance was sparked by the Migos’ 2025 song “Look At My Dab.”

@babyrichfanpage Baby Rich actually created the dab and ya aint even know, where dawg royalties? 🤔 #babyrich #fanum #kaicenat #kaicenatclips #fanumclips #ddg #mafiagotmotion #ddgsquad #fyp #viral ♬ original sound – Everything Rich

Philadelphia’s 2Rare is perhaps best known for his appearance on NLE Choppa’s “Do It Again.” The song already RIAA-certified gold, according to Broadway World. He was a part of the XXL Freshman Class in 2023 as well. Earlier this week, the rapper released his new single “Congratulationz.”

“When I first heard the beat to ‘Congratulationz,’ I automatically felt like it had a commercial vibe,” he said, as reported by Broadway World. “Everyone in the studio felt the beat, so I just challenged myself to come correct and not curse.”

Dreamville and Pusha T headlined the last two Spirals.

Spiral freestyles are set to drop several more times before the year is over.
