Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, turned 55 years old on Tuesday, and he came through with the drip on his special day!

The Jackson State University (JSU) head football coach showed off his new ‘fit on social media — donning a navy-blue hoodie, red and black shorts, a couple of gold chains and a bright-red cowboy hat.

“I have more Flava than Flav,” the former NFL star confidently captioned a selfie of his on-field birthday lewk.

Another post showed that, despite yesterday being Coach Prime’s 55th birthday, he was active on the field and helping his athletes out with their technique, per usual.

Similarly, he also got an opportunity to show off his birthday outfit while starting off the practice with one of his beloved motivational speeches — though a red cap replaced his bold cowboy hat.

However, Deion’s special day wasn’t all work and no play, as a short video shows Coach Prime bantering with one of his son’s, Shilo Sanders, after the team finished up its practice.

“Is there something special going on today?” Shilo coyly asks, and Deion responds, “Yeah, it’s National Leave Your Dad Alone Day.”

Shilo then proceeds to jokingly ask his father if it’s his 60th birthday, and Deion responds by simply saying, “It’s blood test day.”

“I only want one thing for my birthday,” Deion later says. “I just want you to grab a grenade and run full speed.”

This is yet another example of how the Jackson State football team balances hard work with fun-filled antics, as Blavity previously reported.

It’s also worth noting that, regarding Deion’s birthday drip, he isn’t the only member of his family to display a passion for fashion.

As Blavity previously reported, another of Deion’s sons, Shedeur Sanders, made headlines for rocking customized cleats throughout last year’s football season. While most of these were centered on repping JSU, one pair notably paid homage to the late Young Dolph.

Shedeur was notably also seen rocking an iced-out chain and pendant that featured his brand’s logo, showing that the Sanders men aren’t afraid to go all-out with their fashions.

Happy belated birthday to Coach Prime, and shoutout to him for all the work he continues to do for athletes at JSU and other historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
