Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, has been a serious force in advocating for athletes at HBCUs, especially at Jackson State University (JSU), where he serves as the head football coach.

However, when he’s not busy putting in work both on and off the football field, Sanders makes time to goof around with his children. As some of his children attend the powerhouse HBCU he works at, Sanders and his family have ample opportunity for on- and off-field antics.

In an Instagram video taken this past weekend at the XFL Showcase at JSU, Coach Prime and one of his sons, Deion Sanders Jr., are shown engaging in some playful father-son banter.

“I’ve never seen a cameraman with a cameraman. Where they do that at? When does the cameraman get a cameraman?” Deion Sr. laughingly noted, as Deion Jr. was having someone film him filming the team.

“So, you still doing your job and you stuntin’ at the same time? You the rapper, entrepreneur and the cameraman all at the same time?” Deion Sr. added after his son said he was simply trying to “push the brand.”

In addition to this upload, Deion Sr. also recently shared similar videos of him and one of his other sons, Shedeur Sanders, going back-and-forth in his office.

This focus on Deion Sr.’s bond with his sons at JSU notably coincides with the 54-year-old patriarch announcing that he would put half of his annual salary towards completing JSU’s football facility, showing just how serious he is about his team.

“I’ll put more than [40% of my salary] on to get this done for these kids,” Coach Prime said. “I’ll put half [of my salary] on to get this done. If you don’t believe me, check me! I will send you the receipts.”

Shoutout to Deion Sanders Sr. for all that he does for Jackson State University, as well as general HBCU athletics.
