Well Go USA Entertainment has taken North American rights to Deon Taylor’s racially-charged psychological thriller "Supremacy," which made its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival, earlier this month. 

Starring Danny Glover and Joe Anderson, and in a based on actual events, tells the story of a recently-paroled white supremacist who, after killing a police officer, takes an African American family hostage. 

Dawn Olivieri, Derek Luke, Evan Ross, Lela Rochon, Mahershala Ali and Anson Mount, round out the film’s key cast.

“Deon calls Supremacy a ‘real-life horror story,’ and he’s absolutely right,” said Doris Pfardrescher, CEO of Well Go USA, adding, “It’s intense, it’s going to shock, but it’s also this complex, gripping story that’s going to challenge people. Those stories make the best kinds of movies, and we’re very proud to bring it to North America.”

“I am beyond excited to have found a theatrical home for ‘Supremacy’ with Well Go USA,” said director Deon Taylor. “Their enthusiasm is contagious and I look forward to having them introduce this powerful film to audiences. Danny Glover is electrifying, as is the entire cast.”

"Supremacy" is produced by Vincent Cirrincione and Roxanne Avent of Taylor’s Hidden Empire Film Group. Robert Smith and Shannon McIntosh are executive producers along with Aaron L. Gilbert of Media House Capital. Margot Hand and Patrick Murray of Media House Capital serve as co-executive producers.

The deal was negotiated by Doris Pfardrescher at Well Go USA Entertainment, and Preferred Content on behalf of the filmmakers. The Exchange will continue to handle international sales on the film.
