The 48-year-old promoted the list on his Instagram page with pictures of mysterious black boxes with sticky notes attached to them. The sticky notes are printed with the names of the celebrities and each post has a vague caption alluding to what he plans on doing with the "Black 100."
“I’m up to something special. Elevating the culture,” he wrote on one.
The list had people scratching their heads.
Amanda Seales, one of the people on the list, wasn't feeling it.
No really tho, how you make a list called the #black100 and it has hella folks on it that ain’t black ????

Others echoed her sentiment.
Why is Khloe Kardashian on a #Black100 list? https://t.co/qLKbLWqzPE

Diddy hashtag it #Black100 but got white folks in there.
Maybe I read it wrong

Sir we do not need Post Malone, Khloe Kardashian, Mark, or jLo. Feel free to replace them with Kevin Durant, Kerry Washington, Idris, and Viola Davis #Black100

Diddy created a list of #Black100 and threw Elon Musk, Post Malone, Mark Wahlberg, MGK, and Khloe Kardashian in there. pic.twitter.com/XL989Ftl1J

The last thing @Diddy or anybody else needs to do is legitimize cultural appropriation by including a culture vulture like khloe Kardashian on a #black100 list. What has she contributed? Her plastic surgeon’s phone number doesn’t count.
