During the Super Bowl, Marvel Studios debuted the latest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen, the film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez with Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.
The exciting trailer and new poster either hint at or confirm a lot of rumors about the film, including Patrick Stewart appearing as Professor X.

In Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending anddangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.
The film is directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron. Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers.
The film hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
