After years elapsed since the two former Young Money prodigies combined forces, Drake recently announced he and Nicki Minaj have been working together again, and there’s a high likelihood she’ll be on his upcoming project, For All the Dogs.

As Revolt reported, during his most recent stop on his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage in Detroit, the Canadian rapper dropped some information regarding his forthcoming record and its connection to Nicki Minaj.

“I’mma give away one thing about the album to Detroit tonight, ’cause I got a lot of love for Detroit. So I’mma have to tell you, like, me and Nicki Minaj did our first song in, like, a really long time. So I got a lot of love for her,” he said as the crowd erupted into applause and screams.

Minaj reinforced the impromptu announcement of their collaboration on the spot when she shared a clip of him breaking the news to fans on her Instagram Story.

She wrote “Dricki 4 life.”

On Twitter, she doubled down on the notion that her Young Money labelmate is her boy for life by posting a throwback photo of them from over a decade ago.

Some of their best collaborations over the years include “Up All Night,” “Seeing Green,” “Moment 4 Life,” and “Truffle Butter.”

While the date of the new project has yet to be released, we know Nicki Minaj is slated to be on it.
