Drake has had a rocky history with the Grammys, but that may change soon as his collaboration album with 21 Savage, Her Loss, has been submitted for consideration for the 2024 ceremony.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporterthe duo submitted Her Loss for album of the year and best rap album. Regarding singles for consideration, “Rich Flex” and “Spin Bout U” were selected for five different award categories: record of the year, song of the year, best rap performance, best rap song and best melodic rap performance.

To qualify for the 2024 Grammys, set to occur on Feb. 4, songs and albums must be released between Oct. 1, 2022 and Sept. 15, 2023.

In the past, Drake has publicly denounced the Grammys despite winning five awards. In 2021, he garnered attention for withdrawing two rap nominations for Certified Lover Boy. He chose not to submit its follow-up, Honestly, Nevermind, or any of its singles for award consideration the following year.

Since the release of Her Loss on Nov. 4, 2022, Drake has kept busy.

In July, the 6 God began his 54-date North American It Was All a Blur Tour, his first outing in four years, with 21 Savage as an opening act for some shows. He released his eighth studio album, For All the Dogs, on Friday.

Over his 16-year career as a musician, the Canadian multi-hyphenate has earned 51 Grammy nominations, the third most for a rapper behind Kanye “Ye” West and JAY-Z, who boast 75 and 88, respectively.
