Drake has found himself in hot water with fans after he liked Tory Lanez’s statement regarding his 10-year prison sentence following his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Lanez shared a statement on Instagram on Thursday.

In it, he wrote in part, “In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do. I’ve faced adversity my whole life and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious. Tough times don’t last, tough people do. To my family, friends and umbrellas thank you for your continued support. See you soon.”

Shortly after Lanez shared his message, Pop Base mentioned the “God’s Plan” rapper liked it.

Fans were outraged, with many taking the like as Drake’s support for his fellow Canadian.

“He’s such a weirdo,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a Meg GIF.

“Of course he did. Toxic,” another chimed in alongside an exasperated Mariah Carey GIF.

One social media user suspected Drake liked the post because of his issue with the “WAP” rapper.

“The one sided beef drake has with Megan is so weird,” they tweeted.

Another added, “The way his fans tried to gaslight us into thinking that line wasn’t about Megan just for him to do this is actually INSANE…”
