Drake‘s upcoming album, For All the Dogs, includes a significant contribution from the rapper’s 5-year-old son, Adonis. The Grammy Award-winner revealed on Instagram Monday that his firstborn drew the album’s cover art.

“FOR ALL THE DOGS Cover by Adonis,” the Toronto native wrote on Instagram, along with the drawing, which appears to be a dog-like creature with red eyes.

While the cover’s artist is a surprise, the nature of the image isn’t. According to Complex, Drake album covers usually check off the following boxes:

  • a hand-drawn look (If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late)
  • a young-Drake theme (Nothing Was the Same
  • a relative (More Life, which featured a picture of Drake’s father, Dennis Graham)

This isn’t the internet’s first taste of Adonis’ artistic talents. According to TMZ, Adonis created a beautiful piece for the “God’s Plan” rapper for Father’s Day when he was barely a toddler. His mother, Sophie Brussaux, reportedly assisted with the painting.

Family must be on Champagne Papi’s mind lately. Before sharing his new album’s cover, he posted a picture of Adonis with his mother, Sandra Graham. According to Complex, the snap came after the 5-year-old attended his first Drizzy concert, after which the “Nice For What” emcee shared several videos of Adonis singing, “21, can you do something for me?”

The 36-year-old is on his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage. During their stint on the road, Drake hinted at a new album coming in “a couple weeks or some s**t” and wore a dog mask out in public, teasing the new album’s title, Rap-Up reported.

For All the Dogs will be Drake’s eighth studio album. In June 2022, he dropped a dance album, Honestly, Nevermind, and a few months later, Her Loss, with his current tour-mate, 21 Savage.
