Drakeo the Ruler’s brother Ralfy the Plug and members of the Stinc Team have filed another lawsuit against the organizations behind the Once Upon A Time music festival, where Drakeo was fatally stabbed on Dec. 18.

According to a new complaint filed on Thursday, Ralfy, born Devante Caldwell, and the Stinc Team are going after Live Nation, Snoop Dogg‘s LLC, and Bobby Dee Presents, among others, for their negligence in failing to protect Drakeo—seeking millions of dollars in damages.

In the documents obtained by Blavity, Caldwell describes the “ongoing mob attack” on his brother and their friends, alleging the attack ensued within minutes of their arrival and lasted nearly 15 minutes in the backstage “all-access” area of the venue.

Caldwell said promoters should have secured the area to ensure the safety of the artists, citing their “safety was in jeopardy from the moment they arrived.”

Caldwell explains that the event held at Banc of California Stadium and Exposition Park in Los Angeles is surrounded by a region known as “South Central,” noting that the area is rampant with gang activity and boasts one of the city’s highest crimes rates. He argues that promoters should have been better prepared, knowing many of the artists booked on the bill were associated with L.A. street gangs.

In the documents, Caldwell recounts a second part of the attack involving 50-100 individuals shocked and horrified that security never intervened to stop the fight.

He says Drakeo was stabbed in the neck during the brawl, with emergency personnel taking about 30 minutes to reach the rapper due to the “chaos and lack of adequate safety measures.” Drakeo later died in the hospital; he was only 28.

Caldwell and the Stinc Team’s lawsuit follows a previous $60 million wrongful death suit filed by Tianna Purtue, the mother of Drakeo’s 5-year-old son, on the child’s behalf.

A rep for the festival told TMZ: “Once Upon a Time in L.A. joins Drakeo’s family, friends, and fans in grieving his loss. The festival is continuing to support local authorities in their investigation as they pursue the facts.”
