“Driving Miss Daisy” tells the story of the decades-long relationship between an elderly Southern Jewish woman, Daisy Werthan (played in the film by Jessica Tandy), and her compassionate African American chauffeur, Hoke Colburn (played in the film by Morgan Freeman).
