Dwyane Wade isn't here to sugarcoat his feelings for anyone when it comes to his son, Zaire Wade. The retired NBA player slid in some shade while guest hosting on Inside the NBA on Tuesday alongside hosts Shaquille O'Neal and Candace Parker.

Parker and O'Neal shouted out Sierra Canyon, Zaire's high school where he plays basketball with LeBron James' son Bronny James, for coming back from a 10-point deficit against Etiwanda.

High school senior and 2020 top recruit Ziaire Williams showed up and showed out in the last two minutes of the game, putting up the winning shot at the buzzer and securing the team's spot in California's state title game on Saturday, TMZ reported.

While showing a clip of Williams making the shot and celebrating with his teammates, Wade shouted out the boys for their impressive win.

"Shoutout to my kid's team," Wade said. "They deserve it."

When asked if he would be attending their next game he gave a quick and direct answer.

"I will not be there," Wade responded. "My son ain't playing and I don't want to do nothing to the coach. So I won't be there."

Although it was later announced that the game was being canceled due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Wade never had any intention of being in attendance but said he was happy for the team.

"I'll be rooting for the kids," the former Miami Heat player said.

Wade's response caught his co-hosts off guard with Parker saying, "Yikes, on national television."

The team was scheduled to play the winner of Thursday night's game between Sheldon High School and Bishop O'Dowd.

Wade didn't specify why the coach for Sierra Canyon was refusing to allow his son to play during the championship game. However, ESPN reported that it's challenging getting playing time on the team due to the skill set of other top players on the team including B.J. Boston, a five-star prospect signed with Kentucky, and Terren Frank, a four-star prospect signed to TCU.

During a Thanksgiving game, Bronny and Zaire only scored two points combined with Wade's son only getting four minutes of playing time during the matchup.

According to TMZ, Zaire has five offers to play collegiate basketball including Nebraska where the teen's stepmom, Gabrielle Union, hails from. He also has offers from DePaul, Rhode Island and Toledo, according to ESPN.

Despite Wade's harsh comments on the show, it appears the father is still optimistic, tweeting out encouraging words to student-athletes who feel overlooked or overshadowed.

"For All The Kids Out There That's Not Getting The Time Or Opportunity They Feel They Deserve. Look No Further Than The [GOAT] Tom Brady For Some [Perspective]. They Drafted 198 Players Before Him. #GodsPlan," he tweeted in response to Brady's announcement of his company 199 Productions.
