An EasyJet flight ready for takeoff from London Gatwick Airport to Malaga, Spain, returned to its gate after a flight attendant asked that two Black men be removed for being “disobedient,” according to a police report.

Luke Gayle, a passenger on the flight uploaded a video of the Aug. 5 ordeal to Twitter and said he believes race, “[played] a part in the over reaction of EasyJet.”
Because there was a possibility that their skin colour planned a part in the over reaction of EasyJet. I sincerely hope that that’s simplified and clarified things for you????

Last Thursday, flight attendants asked the men to leave the flight after a crew member said one of them huffed because he was told to put his shoes back on in order to follow takeoff procedures, The Hill reported.
Four members of law enforcement later entered the cabin to remove the men from the flight. They confiscated their passports and offloaded their luggage, Business Insider reported.
Passengers are seen in the video protesting the removal of the two men, telling them “no, don’t get off,” and “sit down.”
The men were allowed to remain on the flight, however, the airline’s crew members were replaced by an entirely different flight team.
The airline said the crew members were not removed due to discrimination or complaints from passengers but because they had surpassed the number of hours they were permitted to work.
"EasyJet does not discriminate against any individual. Safety is our highest priority and there is nothing to suggest that discrimination played any part in the issue onboard. Our crew must ensure that safety requirements are followed by all passengers and as part of their role must check prior to take-off that everyone is compliant with these," the airline said in a statement to the Daily Mail.
The Switzerland airline announced it would pursue an internal investigation into the matter.
