Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence had undeniable comedic chemistry when they appeared on-screen together. Now Murphy's son and Lawrence’s daughter have publicly expressed that they have chemistry as well, CNN reports.
Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy, both the oldest children of the iconic actors, are Instagram official.
On Saturday, Jasmin, who is Lawrence's daughter with ex-wife Patricia Southall, said she felt "incredibly blessed" in a post wishing her lover a happy birthday.
"Happy birthday, my love! I'm so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side," Murphy’s caption read. "Cheers to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories! I love you so much!!
Last month, Eric, who is the child of Eddie and Paulette McNeely, also confirmed his relationship with Jasmin on social media.
“Head over heels in LOVE with YOU,” Eric’s caption read.
Jasmin, 25, is a graduate of Duke University. She also followed in her father’s footsteps as an actress, making her debut appearance in Bad Boys for Life, the third installment in the Bad Boys franchise starring her father and Will Smith.
Eric, 32, is in the entertainment industry as well. He’s a writer and voice actor in Los Angeles where he's working on an animated series, Avalon Entertainment reports.
As two of the greatest comedic actors of all time, Murphy and Lawrence have a rich history together. They both co-starred in the classic romantic comedy Boomerang in 1992 and in Life, the buddy-comedy back in 1999.
