The Real Housewives of Potomac star Eddie Osefo is partnering with cannabis company Curio Wellness to launch a new cannabis line.
The new brand Happy Eddie will be available at Far & Dotter and Pharmkent dispensaries, two stores operated by Curio Wellness. The product will also be sold at various dispensaries across Maryland.
According to a press release from Curio Wellness, Happy Eddie is inspired by a viral moment that happened on The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2022. The popular scene was seen in season 7 of the show when a woman referred to Osefo as “Happy Eddie.” The woman came up with the nickname after alleging that Osefo and Candiace Dillard’s husband Chris Bassett were flirting with her, Bossip reported.
In January, Osefo tweeted his plans to release a product based on the nickname.
The original, never to be duplicated 😁. Happy Eddie trademark pending. Merch coming 🔜🤑.

In his latest statement, Osefo said launching his new cannabis brand is one of the most exciting things he has done since joining his wife, Wendy, on The Real Housewives of Potomac.
“It feels momentous, especially after legalization of adult use in Maryland and public attitudes surrounding cannabis continuing to change,” he said in a statement. “One brief moment, mentioning ‘Happy Eddie’ on Real Housewives, helped conceive the idea for my brand and inspired me to take the leap into the industry and I’m happy to partner exclusively with a company like Curio that shares my values.”
Curio Wellness, which describes itself as a leader in cannabis and wellness, offers recreational products, as well as medicinal items to help people who struggle with insomnia and other physical issues.
“We’re thrilled to launch the Happy Eddie product line across Maryland,” Rebecca Raphael Bronfein, Curio Wellness’ Chief Revenue Officer, said in a statement. “As a cannabis leader in Maryland, we have made it our mission to deliver safe, high quality products for recreational consumers and medical patients across the region. Personally, I love the Real Housewives of Potomac, so when Eddie approached us, we jumped at the chance to launch a new brand coming from the heart of Maryland.”
