Our journey to get to know each other continues — this time we’re gonna venture a bit outside of rap and R&B and talk about instrumental records. Veteran producer Elaquent of URBNET has been making beats for us to vibe and reflect to for a minute now, releasing Good Karma last year. And now the Canadian producer is getting set to drop his latest in Worst Case Scenario. Today, we have the first music video in “Nollieflip.”

The full track spans more than three minutes, but Elaquent gives us a two minute video, and the visuals that are paired with it are hypnotic and fitting over this joint. As Elaquent mentions in the press for Worst Case Scenario, you can interpret the beats as you want. When I first heard the joint yesterday, it had more of a chill, relaxing feel. Fast forward a couple hours into the night and it had more of an introspective and reflective feel for me. Jump in and let me know what you think. Elaquent’s Worst Case Scenario drops December 2nd. Follow him on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
