nullCorey Grant's comedy/drama Dysfunctional Friends, a film that premiered at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami this year, where one of its starring ensemble cast Persia White won the Best Actress Award, will open in limited release in theaters through AMC Independent, on Friday, February 3rd, 2012.

The movie's ensemble cast comprises several names of young Black Hollywood actors and actresses you'll immediately be familiar with, like (other than the aforementioned Persia White) Meagan Good, Tatyana Ali, Essence Atkins, Reagan Gomez, Stacey Dash, Stacy Keibler, Keith Robinson, Jason Weaver, Wesley Jonathan, Vanessa Simmons, and a few others. NFL pro Terrell Owens also co-stars by the way – in what will be his big screen debut.

Datari Turner, who also produced the film, co-stars as well.

The film was profiled on S&A a few weeks ago, with a teaser clip; for those who missed that post, here's the film's description again:

A Comedy/ Drama reminiscent of The Big Chill, Nine estranged friends are reunited after their larger then life friend unexpectedly dies. The friends who haven't seen each other in years are all forced to stay at their deceased friends estate for the weekend and must reconnect with each other working through all of their issues in order to each collect their inheritance.

I didn't get to see the film at ABFF this summer, but my comrade over at BlackFilm.com did, and he was very positive on it.

And now you've got less than 2 months to go until you'll get to see it for yourselves, when it opens theatrically, though limited, on February 3rd, 2012.

Here's a clip from the film (full poster underneath):
