9-1-1 is looking to be Ryan Murphy’s next hit.

Not only did the new Fox come out on top during its debut on January 3, but with delayed viewing calculated in, it has risen 50 percent in viewers to 10.5M viewers across multiple platforms.

This makes it the network’s best Wednesday night premiere since Fox’s Lethal Weapon and ABC’s Designated Survivor — and the best Wednesday opener for not just the network, but all of broadcast and cable TV.

Via Fox Now and Hulu, it gained 705k more viewers, and is the most streamed drama for Fox since Gotham nearly four years ago.

The series has seen mostly mixed reviews from critics who’ve applauded the talented cast, while criticizing some of the plot devices.

The new procedural drama explores the high-pressure experiences of police officers, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The provocative series stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Connie Britton, along with Aisha Hinds, Rockmond Dunbar, Oliver Stark and Kenneth Choi.
