Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story has found its cast for Season 13. And as far as fans are concerned, it’s a return to form.

The next season of the anthology horror series will include Ariana Grande, fresh off of the success of the Wicked movies. According to Variety, Grande returns to Murphy and Falchuk-produced content after starring in their 2010s Fox series, Scream Queens.

A who’s who list of AHS alums is also lined up for the season, including Angela Bassett, who starred in American Horror Story: Coven, as well as Gabourey Sidibe, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman.

Will this be an ‘AHS: Coven’ sequel?

There are so many stars from American Horror Story: Coven returning that fans are now speculating if the upcoming season is a continuation of the Coven storyline, which starred Bassett, Bates and Lange as powerful witches who were fighting for the power of the Supreme.

The cast announcement was made on Ryan Murphy Productions’ Instagram page, with fans excited to see the return of so many staples in Murphy’s projects.

When will ‘AHS’ Season 13 be released?

The release date was also announced. Fans have to wait until Halloween 2026 to see what Murphy and the cast have in store.
