With Zahara Jolie-Pitt prepping to attend Spelman College, Angelina Jolie recently helped her daughter get situated at the institution.
Photos of the iconic mother-daughter duo exploring Spelman were posted this past Wednesday by Darryl Holloman, who serves as Spelman’s VP of Student Affairs, according to E! News.
“Welcome to campus..Zahara, c’2026,” Holloman captioned the upload.

His post also contained a video of Holloman asking the Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress about how she felt being a Spelman Mom.
“I’m going to start crying if I talk about today. I haven’t started crying yet,” Jolie laughingly responded. “Hopefully, I can hold it together.”
“I’m so excited,” she warmly added.
News that Zahara would begin attending Spelman, one of the nation’s two historically Black women’s colleges, was recently confirmed by an Instagram upload, as Blavity reported.
About two weeks ago, Jolie uploaded a photo of Zahara alongside numerous other young women who are slated to begin attending the Atlanta institution.
“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” the proud mother captioned the upload.

We have to add that the Maleficent actress also went on to show her excitement by cutting up on the dance floor during the “Spelhouse Back 2 School Send Off & Family Reunion” event.

Aside from Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt share five other children: Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. Zahara was adopted from Ethiopia as an infant and is the only Black member of the Jolie-Pitt family.
Shoutout to Zahara Jolie-Pitt for choosing to complete her college studies at a powerhouse HBCU, and we wish her the best of luck in her scholarly endeavors!
