Zahara Jolie-Pitt, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s six children, is on her way to attending a powerhouse historically Black college or university (HBCU): Spelman College.

The teen’s mother shared the exciting news with the world through Instagram on Sunday.

“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” the Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress wrote beneath a photo of Jolie-Pitt alongside five other young women who are slated to attend the institution.

Despite this post, many already had somewhat of an inkling that Jolie-Pitt would attend Spelman, thanks to a recently circulating clip.

A short video uploaded to social media on Saturday shows Jolie-Pitt attending the “Spelhouse Back 2 School Send Off & Family Reunion” with her mother, and Jolie was notably celebrating by cutting up on the dance floor and “trying out [The] Electric Slide.”

Jolie was also spotted at Spelman a few months ago. As it was right around that time that people began receiving their college admission letters, it also got people wondering whether Jolie-Pitt would ultimately attend the institution.

Spelman College is notably one of only two historically Black women’s colleges currently operating within the United States, with the others being Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Alongside Morehouse and Clark Atlanta University, Spelman is one of Atlanta’s three illustrious HBCUs.

Spelman College was initially founded as the Atlanta Baptist Female Seminary in 1881, and its name was changed to Spelman Seminary a few years later. Finally, in 1924, this HBCU became officially known as Spelman College, and it remains a highly esteemed institution to this day.
