Lionsgate has released the trailer for Antebellum, the upcoming provocative film from activists Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. QC Entertainment, the production company behind Get Out and Us, are producers on the project.
Led by Janelle Monáe, the film also stars Kiersey Clemons, Gabourey Sidibe, Marque Richardson, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, Robert Aramayo and Lily Cowles.
The film and its plot have been kept a secret, but a few details of the premise can be gathered from this short teaser.
Antebellum will be released on April 24, 2020, watch the trailer below.
