A TikToker going by @thetrinityjoy, aka “Thee Traperinna,” is going viral for performing an awe-inspiring routine to a GloRilla track.

The video, which was uploaded to TikTok on Tuesday, shows Trinity Joy cutting up to “Tomorrow 2,” and an on-screen message reads, “POV: you’re a ballerina from the trenches (pt 3).”

Trinity specifically dances to Cardi B’s verse on the hit track, and her masterful routine beautifully weaves choreography styles that have traditionally been separated into the categories of “ballet” and “hip-hop dance.”

@thetrinityjoy Y’all showed me so much love omg I had to come back but tag @glorilla03 and @iamcardib sorry for the audio Tik Tok has copyright claims lol #trinityjoy🦋 #theetraperinna #trapballerina #trapballet #hoodballerina #foryou #fyp ♬ Tomorrow 2 – GloRilla & Cardi B

As indicated, this TikTok is the third installment in Trinity’s dance series, though it’s the first such video to garner millions of views.

@thetrinityjoy You guys loved the first one so I guess I’ll turn this into a series #trinityjoy🦋 #fyp #foryou ♬ original sound – Trinity Joy 🦋

We should also note this Detroit native specifically refers to her dance style as “trapllet,” which she describes as “ballet with trap music/movement.”

@thetrinityjoy tag @Durkio and tell him let me dance for a music video#trinityjoy🦋 #fyp #foryou ♬ original sound – Trinity Joy 🦋

Trinity has also hosted trapllet classes before, and she has dreams to one day show off her moves in a Lil Durk music video.

@thetrinityjoy TAG @lildurk and @indiaroyaletv !!!! I JUST WANT TO TURN YOU UP 😩😭🔥 #trinityjoy🦋 #fyp #foryou #blackdancer #trapllet #traperina #lildurk ♬ Smurk Outta Here – Lil Durk

With her clear passion for trapllet making its way onto new people’s radars through her viral “Tomorrow 2” routine, Trinity swiftly began garnering major attention on Twitter, where she received tons of props.

BET and Cardi B also gave Trinity Joy a shoutout, which she greatly appreciated on Twitter.

One user humorously compared the Gen Zer’s routine to the choreography in Save the Last Dance.

However, we have to point out that some users took issue with Trinity identifying as a “ballerina from the trenches” rather than just a straight-up “ballerina.”

Regardless, Trinity seems unfazed and is owning her identity as “the traperinna”

What are your thoughts on the video, and would you be interested in taking a trapllet class one day?
