The new trailer for the upcoming horror-thriller Barbarian has premiered and by the looks of it, seems to reflect every Airbnb guest’s worst nightmare come true.

20th Century Studios’ Barbarian chronicles the plight of Tess, a young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview who books a rental home. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgment, she decides to spend the evening but soon discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest.

Barbarian was written and directed by Zach Cregger and produced by Arnon Milchan, Roy Lee, Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz. The film stars Georgina Campbell, who is known to many audiences for her portrayal of Amy in the “Hang the DJ” episode of the Netflix science fiction anthology series Black Mirror and the Apple TV+ thriller Suscpicion.

Aside from Campbell, Barbarian also stars It’s Bill Skarsgård, Jeepers Creepers’ Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler and Jaymes Butler. Skarsgard will executive produces alongside Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Danny Chan, and Alex Lebovici.

Barbarian premieres in theaters in the U.S. and Canada on Wednesday, August 31. Watch the first trailer below.
