Keke Palmer was part of this film‘s star-studded cast including Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu. The film, based on a true story, follows a group of strippers who become mavens of an underground fraud ring. Palmer’s character, Mercedes, becomes part of the group and lives the high life while doing some down-and-dirty stuff to unsuspecting men.

2. Pokémon Detective Pikachu
You wouldn’t think that a film about Ryan Reynolds-voiced Pikachu would make grown adults tear up. But Justice Smith, who stars in this 2019 film, brings unexpected gravitas to his role as Tim Goodman, a young man who helps a lost, talking Pikachu find the answers to his past.

3. The Sun Is Also A Star
Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton stars in the film adaptation of Nicola Yoon’s romantic novel. The film follows Natasha (Shahidi) and Daniel (Melton), a young couple who meet and fall in love within 24 hours, right before Natasha and her family are threatened with deportation.

4. Men in Black: International
Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth continue their Thor: Ragnarok friendship in this continuation of the Men in Black saga. This time around, Agent M (Thompson) earns her spot among the mysterious organization by seeking them out and demanding her spot among their ranks.

1. The Mandalorian
Baby Yoda, officially known as The Child, isn’t the only reason to get addicted to Disney+’s popular Star Wars series. Acting legend Carl Weathers plays Greef Karga, a bounty guild leader who learns the hard way about The Child’s special Force powers. Giancarlo Esposito also stars in the series as Empire leader Moff Gideon, who emanates power earned through fear.
