Everyone’s fan-favorite, one-and-done baseball drama series, Pitch, will be aired on cable soon.

BET will be airing the first and only season of the 2017 Fox drama series, which starred Kylie Bunbury and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.  The first two episodes will air this Sunday, July 19. Following this, two episodes will air every Sunday. This news comes at Hulu started streaming the show, produced Disney’s 20th Century Fox Television.

Also starring Mark Consuelos, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder and Ali Larter, the show chronicled the story of a young pitcher, Ginny Baker (Bunbury) who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball as she’s on an impossible and improbable journey, representing her gender as she embarks on a successful baseball career under the glare of the white-hot media spotlight.

In 2019, it was reported that the show was in talks to potentially come back as a tool to keep This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman in a deal at Disney’s 20th Century Fox TV. The potential revival was almost set at Disney+ before fizzling out.

Both stars have kept busy, with Gosselaar starring in ABC’s mixed-ish and the upcoming Saved by the Bell revival series at Peacock. Bunbury who is a series regular in Peacock’s Brave New World, will also play the lead role in the upcoming ABC PI series, Big Sky.
