Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stopped at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two back-to-back performances this weekend. The audience was stacked with celebrities such as Kehlani, Laverne Cox and Madonna.

Beyoncé shouted out the queen of pop as she performed “Break My Soul” on stage.

“Big shoutout to the queen,” she said. “Queen Mother, Madonna, we love you.”

Last year, the two performers collaborated on a remix of “Break My Soul.” The track featured a sample of Madonna’s 1990 classic “Vogue,” with Beyoncé listing influential Black women who have shaped music, such as Janet Jackson, Diana Ross and Whitney Houston.

Beyoncé also appeared in the music video for Madonna’s 2015 hit “Bitch I’m Madonna.”

Madonna attended the Sunday concert with her three younger daughters, 17-year-old Mercy James and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

“Thank you, Queen B, for your magnificent show,” Madonna wrote in an Instagram Story. “My daughters were enthralled! We love you!”

Beyoncé and Madonna met backstage and brought their daughters together. Beyoncé’s daughter, 6-year-old Rumi Carter, joined the group in a rare appearance.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s twins, Rumi and Sir, are rarely seen publicly. Blue Ivy has been in the spotlight as she made several appearances as one of the dancers on the Renaissance World Tour. Rumi has attended a few shows, including Beyoncé’s tour stop in Paris, where she cheered and held a sign.

Fans also spotted the 6-year-old during the tour stop in Amsterdam, where she sang along to her mother’s lyrics for “Hey, Mrs. Carter” and waved at her mother from the audience. JAY-Z sat with her and watched over her with a smile.
