Shadow And Act has an exclusive clip of Black and Blue stars Naomie Harris and Tyrese Gibson discussing the upcoming movie.

The film also stars Nafessa Williams, Mike Colter and others. he official description: A rookie cop (Harris) who inadvertently captures the murder of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing that the murder was committed by corrupt cops, she teams up with the one person from her community who is willing to help her (Gibson) as she tries to escape both the criminals out for revenge and the police who are desperate to destroy the incriminating footage.

For our first look, director Deon Taylor explained to us that Black and Blue is a film with no easy answers which he believes also reflects the state of community/law enforcement relations in real life. “So out in the world and in the streets now it’s like this is our stance against cops, but then at the same time, what people are not also seeing a lot is there are some great cops out there really fighting and trying to help the community. This movie really speaks to the question of how do you break the cycle for you know, my son who’s five years old now so that five years from now he’s not going to scare the cop?” he said.
